Niche markets continue to be all the rage these days and now a new online travel site is tapping into the Muslim travel sector.

Tagging itself as 'Halal Friendly Travel' the Crescent Rating site deals with all elements of travel including hotels, destinations, tours, healthcare, airports and of course restaurants.

A series of ratings take into account halal food, prayer mats and rooms, directions to Mecca (Quiblat), serving of alcohol and television entertainment.

Online prayer times and of course Facebook, twitter and LinkedIn social networking sites accompany the offering.
