Nick Faldo and Laguna Team Up in Vietnam

Golfing legend Nick Faldo has teamed up with Laguna Lang Co Resort in Hue Vietnam to design the destination resort's 18 hole signature championship golf course.

Located on an oceanfront 280 hectare site the fully integrated resorts is similar to Laguna Phuket with an offering of international hotels including a Banyan Tree, residential villas and condominiums and of course golf.

This week sees the launch of the initial real estate offering Angsana Lang Co.

The initial phase will see 113 condo units and suites rolled out, with pricing starting just under USD300,000.

Scheduled for a 2012 debut, the ownership scheme is based on options of either a short term guaranteed return or rental split.

Lots of eyes are on the market considering the current economic environment with hyperinflation, bank interest rates of 22% run amok and a depreciation of the Vietnamese currency.

Meanwhile back of the Phuket success story, Laguna Vietnam is set to explore similar though unfamiliar territory on their latest venture
