Asia certainly seems to be leading the global recovery from the recession with one of the best examples being the booking of the entire luxury Banyan Tree Resort with its 149 villas has been booked by a wealthy Indian party for a wedding. The entire resort has been closed down to outside guests and what looks to be one of the most costly events held on the island ever. It certainly bodes well coming into high season for the hotel industry the type of attention the destination continues to receive.

I rush look into this topic when surpised Banyan Tree was sold.

We just wanted to make sure our readers were awake, yes it was sold but just for a few days which bodes well for high season.

The headline is a bit confusing as relates to the content, -did the Banyan Tree get sold as a property, or just sell 3 days of a nice wedding affair?

ah indeed was a tease...sold for 3 days. Have to make sure everyone is awake on a Monday morning.
