One of the years most anticipated hotel opening's Krabi's Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve has delayed it's opening to the end of the year. In talks with the hotel General Manager Estelita Sebeto the current economic downturn has been sited as the principal reason for moving back the launch to high season.

With 54 luxury villas design by world renowned Thai designer Lek Bunnag; the property has been touted to be a serious competitor to Phuket's high end resorts such as Amanpuri, Trisara and Banyan Tree who must now be collectively giving a sigh of relief during the current challenging low season.

Bill Barnett responds:
yes the use of the Phulay Bay and the official name leaves us perplexed how to put into context, indeed good comments, we try to stick to official hotel names and combining brands and hotel names often is hard task thanks again
