I've been reading a lot about the ongoing journey of the Orient Express hotel brand.
Earlier this year the licensee of the hotel brand Orient-Express Hotels Ltd. renamed their properties under a new moniker Belmond.
The group also mutually agreed with the license holder SNCF to relinquish the name back to the originator.
In a recent interview with Hotels Magazine, SNCF which is a French transport company who holds the name expected to license the brand to a luxury operator soon.
There remains much conjecture who this will be, but certainly the cartel of brands has never been high across the world.
