New 740 Room Hotel Planned For Patong

A new 740 room midscale hotel Patong Bay Hill is currently in its planning and permit phase.

Located on a 58 rai hillside site at the back of the entertainment district the property contains both hotel rooms and villas.

While a two year development schedule has been targeted, permitting processes are in the works.

A feature of the development will be a sports complex with a running track, tennis and squash courts and of course shop houses for sale.

Patong's hotel pipeline continues to flourish despite increasing calls to slow down hotel development and avoid larger scale oversupply.

Just what Patong needs, keep driving them room rates down! Since it costs 400 baht to take a tuk tuk a short distance, it will be cheaper just to get another room than try to make it back to your assigned hotel. With room rates currently at 400 to 600 per night another 740 keys should drop the rates even further. This is a way better option than meter's in tuk tuk's. Build on, Build on!!
