Nakalay Resort Set to Open September

Another new resort will be joining the hotel fray this September with the Absolute Nakalay Resort set to start accepting guests. With 33 suites and a prime west coast location that is directly on the beach the product is strategically located in the close proximity to the entertainment of Patong yet equal distance to the growing hotel markets of Kamala and Surin.

thephuketinsider.com talked to Irina Kuseleva who is Guest Services and Operational Manger for the resort, who commented "recognizing the prevailing challenging conditions, we obviously expect a slow start, and eventually expect a healthy mix of Australians/NZers, Scandinavians (very family friendly) Europeans in general as well as feed from short-haul destinations such as Singapore, Hong Kong etc… The recent news about the plans of Virgin Blue, Tiger Air and several other airlines in respect of Thailand, and in particular Phuket give us a positive feeling. We also base this on feedback from a recently attended Australia-New Zealand road show as well as from the appointments made for TTM opening next week."
