Thailand's Minor Hotel Group is continuing it's expansion drive with the acquisition last week of the Life Resorts Group in Vietnam.
According to documents filed with the Stock Exchange of Thailand the value of the deal is placed at USD16 million.
Two hotel properties make up the bulk of the price which are the Life Heritage Resort in Ho An, and annother in Quy Nhon.
A key add-on is the purchase is the group's cruise operation in Halong Bay.
Rumors are currently circulating in the industry that Minor is viewing another regional transaction which should be finalized in the coming months.
