Given the array of low-cost airline carriers and direct flight to nearly everywhere last minute getaways are becoming a common part of everyday culture.

Go to flash sites auction sites and cheap looks to be continually reinventing itself.

There does remain a great amount of chatter by hotel chains and OTA's about whether the Groupon slipstream is sustainable?

Is there long term value, of is this just a fad? What about the need to loyalty as many of these sites do not have repeat customers so where is the brand value?

For now - one thing is certain Jumpin' Jack Flash or micro-tripping are voices to be heard, and no doubt potential head on beds.
