One of Thailand's major hospitality and property firms MBK PLC has announced plans to postpone hotels projects in Phuket and Koh Samui as a result of the worsening political situation.
The group had planned a 50 room hotel at Loch Palm's Red Mountain Golf Course and a 200 room resort in Koh Samui, both of which will be deferred for the time being.
MBK's hotel grade assets include Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort and popular Pathumwan Princess in Bangkok.
