A leading hotel organization the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Organization Asia Pacific (HSMAI) is holding a major event at the Moevenpick Resort in Karon on November 30th. With participation by prestigious organizations such as PATA, ABACUS, Wotif, Travel Daily Asia, Expedia and SynXis there will also be a half day workshop on December 1.

For more details see the website http://www.hsmaiasia.org This year has already seen new regional events for the island's tourism players including the AOCAP Shared Ownership Conference held at Patong's Millennium Resort and the Phuket Hospitality Show at Royal Phuket Marina. Given the island's easy access to key regional gateways, continued hosting of these types of conferences looks to be on the upswing.
