Thailand's Kasemkij Group, which owns the Cape Panwa Hotel and operates the Cape House brand, is developing a new resort under its other brand Kantary in Khao Lak. The project cost is reportedly 800 million Baht and comes at a time when the company has another hotel project in Hua Hin.
According to reports Kasemkij will pursue two other new hotel projects in Koh Samui and is viewing Vietnam as a strategic overseas expansion target. In Phuket renovation work is underway at Cape Panwa which is scheduled to complete next year.
