The recently opened 190 room Kalima Resort & Spa in Kalim is the latest push outwards by the Greater Patong growth spurt.

Highlighted by panoramic ocean views over the bay, the new property is the latest in off beach properties sprouting up along the island's west coast.

A selection of six designs for the upscale property offer both hotel rooms and villas.

Development on the Patong headland remains in full force with both new hotel and property developments underway including Hong Kong's New World groups luxury mixed use project, Amari Residences and Bluepoint Condominium.
