For anyone driving by Kalim for a number of years you can't help but notice the former Villa Santi residential led hospitality project. I spoke to Khun Laddawan Somniyan recently and learned that yes the resort is taking guests back of a soft opening.

Plans are underway to see a March opening for the trademark IndoChine restaurant and multi-level dining, lounge and entertainment complex; while a hotel grand opening is set for mid year.

A management deal joint venture was entered into with leading US chain ResortCom including Tom LaTour who was formerly CEO of boutique pioneer brand Kimpton Hotel.

is this project no longer called Villa Santi ? What about the original developers Bart Dykers ? are they still running this project ?
Bill Barnett responds:
Yes its still the Villa Santi development but has been branded to the IndoChine name for management and operations. Bart Duykers is stil involved together with Michael Ma's Singapore group and the US based chain ResortCom.
