Word comes on the news buzz that upscale budget chain Yotel are serious about expanding into Asia.
After a start up with airport properties in the UK and Amsterdam, next came a flagship property in New York City.
Comments on development plans in Asia have sidelined China in a surprise move and are focused more to gateway cities such as Singapore and Hong Kong.
Yotel remains positioned as a premium budget offering and their business model needs uplift in order to execute what has become an acclaimed design and operating standard.
