Recently I met with Resort Manager Lillian Carpenter of Dewa Phuket in Nai Yang to talk about their affordable private pool villa offering. With 34 of these villas, each offering absolute privacy with 130 meters of indoor and outdoor living space and your own plunge pool it's an absolute bargain offering. Currently the resort has a promo on at THB 4,500 net including breakfast which works out to be a similar rate for a normal hotel room at many of the islands upscale hotels.
Over the past few years Phuket Pavilion's in Layan and Sala Phuket have capitalized on this offering in targeting a product with a reasonable pricing point that can attract an up sell from traditional large scale cookie cutter hotel rooms, or a trade down from those paying 3-4 times the amount at one of the luxury resorts.
Located adjacent to Sirinath National Park with its long white sand beach and near to the established Indigo Pearl, Dewa is a good choice for a weekend hideaway or vacation.
