Carlson's Radisson Plaza Debuts in Panwa July 2

The 211 key Radisson Plaza Resort Phuket Panwa Beach is set to soft open this Thursday July 2nd. Global hotel chain Carlson whose brands include Regent, Radisson, and Park Plaza already operate more then 1,000 hotels around the world is managing the development. With a combination of hotel rooms and pool villas, four food and beverage outlets and other facilities the property is entering the market at an extremely challenging time.

Panwa continues to see new development with some older established properties such as Cape Panwa, French chain ACCOR's Novotel and the upscale Sri Panwa. HotelCorp recently inked a deal to manage the condo hotel Bel Air and a deluxe hotel under the Regent brand continues to be in the pipeline though has been substantially delayed.
