Leading global hotel brand ACCOR have told thephuketinsider.com that they have signed an agreement to manage the 280 room Pullman Phuket Arcadia which is scheduled to open in 2012. The developers are the owners of the Hilton Arcadia Resort and the new hotel is aimed at the upscale segment. Despite an economic downturn investment in hospitality assets is on the rise with 38 new properties in the pipeline.

Pullman is a brand of ACCOR, positioned just below the Sofitel, there is already one in Bangkok and a number on the rise, ACCOR of course has mutli brands including Softiel, IBIS, Mercure, and Novatel as well.
What are the major other properties (of the 38 in the pipeline)worth mentioning?
