Thailand's homegrown X2 boutique hotel brand is using mixed use managed residences to fuel the chains growth. Part of the Astudo Group which also has lifestyle brands Le Bayburi, Away Resorts and The Case Hotels under its umbrella.
It's X2 (pronounced cross over) resort in Kui Buri has units on the market which will expand soon including launches for Koh Samui, Koh Kood, Rayong and Bangkok over the next few months. The resort residences offer either an option of 5% guaranteed returns over 5 years and 60 days owner usage; or variable plan with 50% of net room revenue and unlimited owner usage.
Astudo is priming for growth in the region with a property under development in Manila, Philippines. Regional resort destinations including Bali, Maldives and Cambodia are likely growth targets.
