Bangkok's thirst for international luxury is continuing on unabated with the opening of the Siam Kempinski in June. Fronting up with 303 rooms the hotel's location is the popular Paragon mall.
A feature of the property is 22 premium pool access rooms. Part of the mixed use project included 98 serviced apartments which are branded and will be operated by the hotel.
Set to compete at the top end of the market key add on's include a large ballroom, signature tea lounge and an assortment of restaurants and bars.
In a city overrun with glitz and glamour accommodation, I think we just heard a collective sigh from the growing list of competing hotels all the way down here in Phuket.
