Perhaps a sign of the times, but living in age of the long tail it's all about touchy feeliehybrid brandology these days.

One of the more left of center new buzz terms is the term 'glamping'.

No this is not some rural form of line dancing, but a chic combo of glamour and camping i.e. glamping.

Seems hipsters, and aging travelers still have a taste for the great outdoors but scaled up into a boutique accommodation theme.

The concept is gaining ground fast both in the US and abroad, and has hotel developers licking their lips. Imagine charging premium room rates for units that can be easily constructed and needless to say - far cheaper than hotel rooms.
