Leading Australian hospitality group Constellation Hotels has teamed with industry veteran Brian Deeson to expand in Asia Pacific. Mr. Deeson is a longtime Asian hotel expert back of many years with Hyatt International, establishing Century Hotels who were sold to ACCOR and then heading the French chain's Greater China operation. His mandate in his new role is that consulting on the development and expansion of the groups brands.
Constellation has over 60 properties under its portfolio including the Grand Chifley, Chifley, Australis, Country Comfort and Sundowner flags. Given the relative small size of the Australian and New Zealand markets Asia back of vibrant development activity has lured the company into the region.
