When you grow up making airplanes and throwing them into the wind, how you often wished a strong wind blow you away.
Today back of a continuing global green initiative to cut down waste on paper and preserve the environment Singapore Airlines is introducing electronic 'e' versions of its inflight magazines, hence working towards paper-less airplanes.
This looks to be one of those win-win iniatives as not only does it help the green cause but saving all those printing costs adds up to savings for the airline.

Cut down on hand luggage requirement, reducing space, weight, fuel, trees etc
Audible books would also be good for kids and sight restricted passengers.
