On the back of Laguna Phuket's 25th Anniversary the leading island organization is geared up to raise THB2 million for the Fully Booked Schools Project.
Aiming to fund a rural mobile library for children in Phuket and Phang Nga, the group has pledged THB1 million themselves.
The mobile library will also provide a classroom and is expected to hit the road in 2013.
According to the National Statistics Office of Thailand 14.2% of Thai's cannot read. This figure is substantially higher in rural areas.
