Political and enivonmental activism were natual bedfellows and were widerly pioneers in the 1960's and 1970's. You can even foll back the clock to the Edward Abbey's "The Monkey Wrench Gang"" and specialist character 'Hayduke'.
A UK based activist Richard Reynolds has taken things into his own hands and traversing London with a mission of planning greenery - with or without permission from authorities. . His website now has scores of followers and you can check it out at guerrillagardening.org.
Many are likening the movement into that of a new age Robin Hood or Rob Roy, while instead of bows and arrows, a set of gardening tools are used along with plants or seeds.
