One of Thailand's leading design firms the Beaumont Partnership (formerly Woods Bagot Thailand) has assisted the International School in Bangkok to obtain a LEED rating for their new Cultural Centre. Only two other buildings in the Kingdom have obtained LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) listing.
Taking up an area of 10,000 square meters the facility will be issued with the rating once fully open later this year. The green building acknowledgement will also be key to help students in recognizing and learning about the growing importance of sustainability and environmental awareness.
