Boutique carrier Bangkok Airways has achieved recognition for its Koh Samui Airport in the Thailand Energy Awards.

Categories for honors were Energy Efficiency and Conservation in tropical buildings category for best practices.

The airport continues to rank high with foreign tourists with its natural appeal and synergies of island style design.
