Indonesia's East Bali Poverty Project is an agro-forestry initiative aimed to create diversity, and rebuild the natural environment.
Creating a grass roots understanding of the importance of bamboo, or getting locals to "buy in" is fundamental to the program's success.
Bamboo remains a sought after commodity in building, handicrafts and food.
