Luxury hospitality group Alila at their resort in Uluwatu have taken a long term view to sustainable programs within the community.
Ranging from their support of the Bali Life Foundation and orphanage in Jimbaran, the initiative reaches toward recycling, basic skills education and eco projects.
Once children reach working age, some have been employed at the property.
In recognition of their efforts the resort was awarded an EarthCheck certification and Green Hotel Award by ASEAN.
